Our GO Mussel range is produced using 100% New Zealand sourced Green-Lipped mussel powder and oil, from local supplier Aroma NZ. Aroma NZ has long sourced and refined green-lipped mussel powder and oil from their family-owned farms in the Marlborough Sounds and Banks Peninsula. Aroma NZ is an industry leader in research and development, including their focus on extraction technology.

Green-lipped mussels are one of aquaculture’s most environmentally friendly nutrient sources. Farming them requires seawater, mussels and some Kiwi ingenuity. Aroma NZ is A+ certified. The A+ sustainable aquaculture standard is a sustainable management framework, run by Aquaculture New Zealand.

A+ is aligned with world-leading accredited certification programmes - such as Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP). It enables Aotearoa’s aquaculture industry to continually improve environmental practices and focuses on water quality, ecology, resource use, and iwi participation.
